In early February, we
drove north to Llandudno for a few days.
Whilst there, Jean took me to the
Aber Falls
which are only a few miles from the flat. They had been swelled by rain
and were a splendid culmination to the walk from the car park.
Tim and Jill were our walking companions. |

Middle of January, a nice day
and its time to stretch my legs for a
trip up Pen y Fan. First time
this year. |

Coming soon, how I worked on
Christmas Day morning on what was for me, an exciting and rewarding
experience: lighting Tewkesbury Abbey for a live BBC 1 transmission. |

The big freeze continues. Now
December 18th
and an overnight dump of snow changes the scene yet again.
Aberthin and Cowbridge; a few pics taken this very
day. |

It has been cold, very cold for
this time of year in South Wales. Down to minus 7 or 8 some nights.
Not as cold as some places, I know, but it was cold
enough for some spectacular hoar frost.
Take a
look. |

Three days in one of Italy's
biggest and busiest cities (Milan)
was just about enough for me; basically I guess I'm a country boy at
heart. We flew from Bristol and were met in
Bergamo by Francesca. |
