In early February, 2011, we had a short visit to North Wales during which we visited Aber Falls. I am embarrassed to say that it was my first visit! So pretty and so near to our accommodation. The day was sunny and I thoroughly enjoyed the day.

We parked the car in a small but well laid out car park and prepared for our walk. Boots and anoraks on, we're ready to go. and here are the Falls.

The river draining the falls is quite full. It has rained a lot recently.

Just gushing out of the hillside.

The water was just going down a kind of plughole! and the sun shone!

The girls take the lead.

Quite a bit of timber which has, presumably been brought down by the river.
Jean, cousin Tim and Jill.

Jill and Tim in front of the falls.

No signs of Spring colour yet.

Skeletal Larch trees.

Lichens on a stone wall. Two hours later, back to the car.

An excellent walk.
