Bodnant Gardens

....are just a few miles south of Llandudno off the A470. These exceptionally fine gardens are owned and run by the National Trust, and always offer wonderful views in a magnificent setting. Each Easter, my wife and I spend time there soaking up the riot of colour from the many flowering trees and shrubs. Not to mention the daffodils...

There's an old mill by the stream... bodnant7.jpg (73013 bytes) April 2003 and Jean and I re-visited Bodnant on Good Friday.

It was unseasonably warm (22 deg C) and slightly hazy.

This little fellow was woken from his slumber (by his minder) for a 'photo opportunity'. He stands about 6 inches high.

This was altogether a much bigger and more fearsome specimen. He is an African Eagle Owl.
