| Chile is an extra ordinarily long country
stretching from above the Tropic of Capricorn to just 500 miles above
Antarctica. Needless to say, during the two weeks that I was there, I did a
few panoramic shots. In the old fashioned way of doing them manually in
Photoshop. |

Puerto Varas taken on a cloudy/just stopped
raining morning. It rains a lot down here, but then, the lakes have to fill
up somehow.
It's the Chilean Lake district, we're talking 300 days of
rain a year. |
 |
The Torres del Paine cannot fail to impress, The Andes
are still growing unlike the Alps, which are grinding to a gravitational
halt. |

Valparaiso, Santiago's, main port, looking towards Val de
Mar.
On a cloudy day in November. |

The Atacama Desert
is 'the' place to go if you are in
Chile. Especially after the Chilean Lake District, which is as wet as back
home in Wales! Dry is so dry that you just have to
keep drinking water 24/7. But it's so worth it for the spectacular views of
one of the driest places on planet earth. |
 |
If you are really fussy, then go for the
Valley of the
Moon. This is where NASA scientists bring their extra planetary
explorers to test. Mars and Lunar rovers do a workout here on planet Earth. |
Some non panoramic pics of Chile here.
