'Christmas Presence' 2001

Just before Christmas 2001, I was helping to stage a concert called 'Christmas Presence' put on by Ptarmigan Productions of Leeds, headed by Brian Willett. The BBC singers and Howells Senior Girl Schools Choir sang a variety of music including works by Thomas Tallis, Poulenc, traditional Carols and one written especially for the Howells School Choir by Stephen Pearson and Richard Phillips. Here are a few pictures taken during the day......

The BBC Singers in rehearsal		As the evening drew on, I could begin to see the contribution from my lamps. The power supply is strictly limited by old wiring to a maximum of about seven kilowatts. Hardly enough to do justice to the place.
