This was the view to the
north from the holiday inn in Nicosia. The hotel
is very close to the 'green line' which divides the island after the
Turkish invasion of 1974. This view shows the Turkish occupied part of the
city, and the mountains which run very close to the northern edge of the
island.
This is the view from the
town of Pissouri towards Limassol.
It is taken from the brand new open air
theatre which I visited to offer my thoughts on lighting and sound
installations. I guess that if the production became at all boring, the
audience would just admire the panorama!
This is of just one view of the foothills of the
Troodos mountains.
