Day Two took us to a heavily wooded valley just
off the Cupar Road. Here, after a short clamber up a rock or two we were
presented with a small stream or 'burn' swollen with recent rain and the
remnants of autumn leaves. Yesterday had all been hand held shots.
Today, we were on tripods and long exposures. This was something I had
looked forward to. I was not disappointed.
Mark pointed out possible vantage points and things
that were to either help or hinder our composition. I was glad to have
waterproof shoes on, some of the shots were taken with all five legs in
the water! (Three for the tripod, two for me)
I love the 'liquid metal' look of water when taken
with a long exposure. We are talking 4 seconds at F22 and ISO 100 for
most of the shots below.
