Little trains of Wales

Portmadoc to Blaenau Ffestiniog  (3 of 3)

Looking from a steam train past a sheep pen to a Nuclear power Station (Transfynydd) now being de-commissioned, along with all the other Magnox reactors of the 1950's and 60's. ...and the other way, back towards Portmadoc, down a beautiful valley.
Is it a lake or a reservoir? The clue is in the middle distance; this is part of a hydro electricity system. We are approaching the area of Wales with the highest rainfall.

So to journeys end, some 75 minutes later Linda gets a 15 minute breather before returning to the coast.

just like breathing, I suppose Gleaming, gleaming, gleaming. Spot the photographer.
Journeys end, or in my case, middle. Back to Portmadoc for a fish and chip lunch!
