Not family, but a very good friend of ours,
Tony Escott, who, following his retirement from the BBC moved out to live
in Italy with his wife, Mary. We meet them around Europe most years. |

Jean's father, Ted, or Don Eduardo as I respectfully called him,
is now sadly no longer with us.
He
had a long and distinguished career in export business.
He has written a journal about his life as a POW in World War II which can be

Jean visited Tokyo three years
ago to attend a conference. Here is a picture that she took at one of the
