Another day, another gallon of wine. It
tickled me that it is dispensed rather like petrol from these pumps marked
Red, White and Rose. At about $7 for five litres you can't fault it!
Margaret kindly took me to St Chinian to this excellent bike shop to buy a
new chain.
Please note Pool Boy hard at it.
The Baron Rouge making a lot of noise for a
very small plane.
The Canal du Midi is a nice
change from chain snapping mountains. I bumped into Reg and Wendy at this
point. Reg is a retired head teacher from Lincolnshire who is very active
in the area of butterflies and moths. He has written several books on the
subject.
A few shots around the garden
Spot the owner of the orange van working in the vines.
His name is 'Ramos', Margaret tells me.
The
view from a small track just down the rue from Margarets
and that was on my last little cycle ride
that week before I was bundled back to Toulouse and Cardiff via BMI Baby.
Another great trip to Languedoc. Excellent
area of France. Thank you Margaret, thank you France.
(when do I get my commission from the French tourist
board?)
