Panoramic Pictures - France
| Hello there Mr. Baker, I just have to say
I'm a huge fan of your work from what I've seen! I was sent a link by a
friend who couldn't speak any higher of a photographer. I absolutely
love your panoramic shot of the vineyard, its breath taking!
Thanks,
Robert |

| Mer du Glace, near Chamonix. Note the winding
column of people on the right of the picture on their way down to
experience the blue light within the tunnel carved out of the glacier.
It's cool!
This was constructed from about four
hand held 35 mm. pics I took in 1982.

This is Minerve, a magical place in the
Languedoc, which is one of my families favorite areas of France. There is
quite a history to Minerve, but that is best gleaned elsewhere. Simon De
Montfort is a key name. The peaceful Cathars were held to siege here in
the name of the Catholic Religion. |

| This is just typical of the area about 40 K's
inland from the Mediterranean in Languedoc. I took this on one of my
favourite cycle rides, having just climbed the long hill to the right of
the picture. |

| On a previous holiday in the Burgundy area of
France, we had a Gite, and this was the view from the Barbeque area.
Cluny, a Mediaeval town is about 12 K's away to the south.

Bourges Cathedral made from five digipics
(taken in portrait mode)
Not as obviously a panoramic as the above, but it has
the advantage of being able to print out to a far bigger print than if it
had just been one picture. |

| A view of the Gironde, near Bordeaux. |
