In late November 2006, I made a short training
trip to southern Germany. It was as a result of an e-mail from
David Horner,
a lighting designer specialising in moving light rigs. He met me at
Zurich airport and took me to a suburb of Kussaberg just a few
kilometres into Germany after crossing the Rhine. Each morning I was out
with my camera capturing the magic combination of mist and autumnal
colours in this very pretty part of the world.
within a short time the early morning mist had moved
on. On the right, the view from my window.
Nearby woods beckoned as the sun
gradually dispersed the mist.
The camera shutter worked hard for the best part of
an hour!
Then it was back to the main street...
Internet surfen is alive and well...
could this indicate a change to winter wheels in
anticipation of the forthcoming snow?
Later, David took me up to the Castle nearby.
How's your German? Mine is virtually non existent. It
was in a beautiful situation and full of character.
