we approach the Scar from gentle surroundings which
give no hint of what is to come.
Let the images speak for themselves.
We return to Malham via 'Janet's foss'. Here, we
encountered a mixture of crystal clear waters and a large part of
teenage school children accompanied by a harassed teacher.
I managed to get one picture without a biomass of
human beings!
More coins embedded in an old tree
trunk.
My family usually expect me to have at least one
image of rusting machinery on each trip!
I try
not to disappoint.
Slightly further down the beck was another indication
of age in this old barn.
This shot of reeds reminded me of moving water. I
like it better in monochrome.
What a nice day for a walk!
At the end of our walk, we end up right
outside our B & B.
We 'pop' into settle for lunch down a scenic bye
road.
After lunch in Settle, we return to the limestone
hills and decide to walk around Malham Tarn, Field study centre and
nature reserve.
