Welcome: to Mount Robson, Canada's highest
mountain in the background cannot fail to impress at 3954 metres. I like
the way the clouds stream off to the right, almost like wind blown hair. |

A closer view. |

Mount Edith Cavell beckons. |

Glacial pond at the foot of the glacier. |

The signage tells you a bit about things. |
End of a glacier, start of a river. |

 |
Interesting colours of algae on the ground. |

A diddy iceberg. |
Lake Maligne, is another beautiful lake in
its mountainous setting, but unfortunately the smoke is here as well

 |
which doesn't hang about |

This little chap is a golden mantled ground

Fishing for trout, so I was told. |

These buildings are found all over the parks.
We are talking toilets of the 'long drop' variety. |
|
Jean coped with this wobbly bridge without
too much of a problem. |
 |
This is one of my favourite pictures of the
holiday. As usual with photography it's a case of right place, right time. |
