Lampeter is in Mid Wales, Almost as Mid as you can
get.
It's a dreamy drive north from the M4 and my Sat
Nav took me on a couple of pretty (but narrow!) roads through super
scenery. I was attending a weekend Photographic Convention that has been
held at Lampeter University for some 36 years. Twas my first time...
Photographers of all standards and styles were there
and there was a full programme of piccy related events laid on.
Including some models who were the object of our
attention here.
This young lady was one of the first to
hear the busily clicking shutters of a myriad of digital cameras.
The wind was adding some action to her long hair.
We can do Coy...
...or Sultry.
Mike Davies from our own Club, The Vale
Photographic Club at large here.
And then it started to rain, so I was off indoors.
and so was Lynne, Mike's wife.
There's a rather atmospheric church on
Campus, just off the corridor above.
It was tripod time.
The rain stopped....
...and I set off to explore the town in the half hour
I gained by bolting down my lunch!
It was Sunday, and pretty quiet on the streets.
The blue lamp over the door of the Police Station
reminds me of Dixon of Dock Green (A 1950's TV series about a London
police station!)
