Large trucks 'hide' behind the stage. Cameras have been rigged, as have some lights for the Herodia's Palace scenes.

Max Conwell was the L.D. (Lighting Director) in charge of lighting the interior of the hall.
I recorded a few different lighting 'looks'.

It's Saturday, and with one day to go, rigging continues at the Seacombe terminal.

and then there's that huge ventilation shaft seen close up.

Not the most architecturally accomplished building I've ever seen.

Back in the warmth of the HD BBC 'scanner' an old friend/colleague of mine, Steve Whittaker' is in charge.

It's a case of aerials ahoy on the scanner roof.
This shot just gives you a hint of the complexity of the communications. inside the terminal, there's a hint of Christmas decs about the place!

The 'sparks' are rigging lamps for Mary and Joseph's run to the boat down the ramp.

The cameras will also run with them.

Nine lamps, some brushed silk to spread the light.
Mark's camera has his shot notes on the side. A high tech clip board. and here he is in action along with Andy Parr on a cabled hand held camera.
