...and this is the house, a semi detached to
which I did numerous unsympathetic alterations in the name of
modernisation. Such is life. That little mini took me all over the country
servicing 'It's a Knockout', Floodlit Rugby and 'The Good Old Days'

you can't get much more boring than the back
of a house, but this was it, a miniscule kitchen opened out onto a compact
garden which backed on to Fog Lane park: with it's noisy peacocks! |

Woodford Air Display was always good for an
acoustic thrill when the Avro Vulcan Bomber came over the crowd. Not too
many yards to the gallon. |

This was home for our family from 1972 to
1977. 42 Adelaide Rd. Bramhall. Nice house, small garden and not much room
on either side, like about 3 feet! I wonder who lives there now? |
