After 'lunch' I followed the Genesis Route
which has a pretty stiff climb for several K's. Pausing for a photo
opportunity at a point called desolation or something like that.
Just topping up with fuel at a convenient
petrol station.
And then its 'down time' back towards the
hidden valley and base camp.
via lots of twisty tree trunks and roots
which positively claw at unprotected limbs.
This is just a tantalising look
at the hidden valley which is a superb downhill bash. I was enjoying it
far too much to take more photos. then, I re crossed the road and did all
of 'The Wall' as the 'difficult' trail is known.
Six hours demanding cycling in warm June sunshine. I
drove home with a smile on my face. Why hadn't mountain biking been
invented when I was a kid?
And when the funs over, its time to get
the hose out. (Sorry Simon)
