More memories from Bush House in the 1960's.

E7 - this was the poky channel on the ground floor SEW between S3 and

S4: it had 3 BTR2s and two Prestos [disk recorders], also direct lines into S4 - hence the complex bay.

'I [Roger Wilmut] found this pic of Bush House's first Studer - I think it was in QCR (which took over E1), No date - probably around 1966.'
CTR 2 under maintenance.
Rex - Rex Pitts tests the Berlin chain (this one is already on the Old SMs sight)
CTR2 presided over by Alan Haynes
Orange Continuity panel. Oh so familiar!

These colour pictures just received from Barry Warner who is now retired and living in New Zealand.

Barry isn't sure whether this is BH or Bush House. Roger Wilmut believes it is BH.

From Robin in NZ:

The photo of H2. The machine configuration and centre linking console don't look to me like BH. We didn't have a fader like that and also the PPMs were standard round meters. The only square meters that I can remember were in a Marconi built talks studio on the lower ground floor at BH. It's not impossible but I think that it might be Bush. From what I can remember after all these years the Bush recording channels had faders so that the programme assistants could make an announcement from the channel if needed before playing the tapes.

cheers
