Harold Hopkins has sent me three pics of Bush taken in those far off days (1960's) and some text to describe what's going on.
I have just discovered your very interesting web site, with pics that
brought back many memories.

I joined the BBC at Bush on the second week of November 1961, and was put on
A shift with Nick Coombes as tom, Chiefy Willoughby as atom and Fred Wiles
as recording supervisor.
Of the other shifts, C - George Petty was tom with Roger Carey as atom;
 B - Wilf Arnold was tom with Bob Berry as atom I think; D - cant remember.
I joined with Malcolm Goodman, Dick Bird, Paul Templeman, Paul Stainiforth;
Bill Chesneau, and many others.  We all went to Evesham in March 1962 and
there were 60 T/Os on that course, needless to say BBC Club at Evesham was
well patronised.

Of the photos The man in the chairs is Malcolm Goodman, The man in MCP is
Eddie Harris.   And the other view needs no introduction. All taken in
August 1965.

Of that photo of C shift coming on shift, the man leaning over George Harris
was Eddie someone.   Barry Moncrief is also in the pic, I must tell him
about your site.

Harold has more to say in the next page. Read on...
