In my photographic wanderings, I was met by
interest and curiosity but also by smiles and courtesy. Whenever I
practised my 4 words of Mandarin, any linguistic barriers fell away.
Nee-Haa (my phonetic pronunciation) is Hi or Hello. It always gained a
response.

Each morning, I'm on the photo prowl.
Traffic in Yuyao was not too bad, probably because
the bike is still a very popular mode of getting around.
However, some tricycles were presumably
operating outside of the law. Here police were towing two away!
Mobile phone shops are everywhere. A bit
like the UK then.
