Hello
I thought I would just drop you a line to
say how much we enjoyed looking at your site - talk about something for
everyone - is there nothing you've not captured ????? Thank you for a
very entertaining few hours. We were very impressed with both the
standard of photography and the quality of this site. It was wonderful
looking at so many familiar places from The Vale and Cardiff. Thank
you.
With very kind regards

I came across your site whilst looking up some info about
Nash Point (we love it there in fact we have been there today to see
some friends who are camping it is so peaceful and relaxing)
Anyway It is just to say I love the photos and some
history of Nash Point and I have just read about Tiggy she is lovely. We
have two cats so I can relate to her kitten ways. It reminded me when
they were little. Bless.
best wishes and thank you for a lovely site

| I happened to drop onto your website when
looking for archive photos of the slate quarrymen. It is totally
regrettable that you would describe the location from this photo as being
a gloomy Town. |

I have been looking at your Laugharne Site
on the web. I haven't had a computer long, but I just had to see what
there was on my home- Laugharne. I was so excited all those wonderful
pictures, it made me feel so home-sick. When I was 2 mths. old
my family moved back to Laugharne. My mother came from there, she married
a British soldier. But back to your pictures and information, I think they
are great. I used to play in the old boat house, mind you that is going
back a few years. So many memories of my first few years there. I think we
are all related in Laugharne - inter marrying and such. I am a real old
Taffy and would love to talk to any one who knows my dear old place.
Crikey, the stories I could tell. WONDERFUL! Keep up the good work?
Thanks again for a wonderful site. |

| I was looking for a photo of Fifth Avenue,
New York through the Google.com images for a project that I am doing and
one of your images from your trip turned up on my search. I found myself
reading all of your captions and viewing all of your images. It was just
great photo journalism... needless to say I enjoyed them all. |

| Thanks for putting your superb pictures of
Concorde landing at Filton on your website. I was there 'somewhere on the
A38', watching and getting wet! As a small boy living near the Royal
Aircraft Establishment at Farnborough I used to see the prototype Concorde
002 come and go regularly in the early '70s. When I lived in Reading in
the '80s I used to see Concorde heading west every weekday morning,
gaining height after a Heathrow takeoff. As I now live in Yeovil, I had to
go and see the last landing. The real tragedy, of course, is that no one
has had the will nor vision to design something better in the intervening
30 years. |
Keith (Yeovil, UK) |

An excellent website, superb
photos of Concorde and Cardiff in particular I enjoyed. you have a great
name as well!!!

Just wanted to let you know
that your web sit is FANTASTIC. For the past 11year I have lived
in Atlanta GA and my Husband has never seen Trawden where I grow up. I
called my mum who still lives there and she said that your mum and dad had
the chip shop at cotton tree. My Grandma used to take me in there for a
treat when I was a little girl, I remember them and the fact it was the
best fish & chips around.
Thanks for making time to put
a great web site together.

I am going to be studying in Cardiff for a
semester in the spring, so I decided to do a quick search for pictures to
see where I'll be headed. Your site is really incredible and includes a
ton of detail. The comments and maps are very helpful. What kind of camera
do you use? ...the quality is impressive, I must say.
I live in NYC but go to school in Upstate New
York, so I will be studying for a bit at Cardiff University. I am trying
to talk to various people from Wales about life there, what to expect when
I get there. Would you please offer some suggestions, anything you think
would be beneficial for me to know before coming?
Your website truly rocks!! Thank you for
sharing all of these memories with everyone else on the net.
