More Green Mountains

A real peep show. Maybe it's called what the grocer saw...

If your ass is either/or old/tired; this is where you can buy something to rectify the matter.

Not just your ass, it seems.

Even marbles, for heavens sake! Tis about fifty years since i saw glass alleys like these...

We went to bed that night hearing the patter of tiny raindrops.

We woke up to hear great big joined up raindrops. And this was just the start.

Fortunately for us, this was to be a driving day down to Springfield. The rain continued to fall for about 30 hours non stop.

Some parts of New England had as much as 10 inches of rain in that time. Some cars and even houses were swept away.

So, as we drove south, the colours of the leaves were more green but we did see one or two more covered bridges.

This notice tells you all the things that you can't do on this bridge.

Oh the old petrol pumps! Instant garage nostalgia.

Grandma Moses' museum. Mmm.
We are in Bennington, and it is still pouring down.

Two contrasting images outside the museum.

Well, three then.

A poignant scene in a nearby graveyard to remind us all that American soldiers are losing lives every day.
A grand house in Bennington. I liked the contrast of soft colourful leaves on the shiny black motor car.

But this is what really tickled me; a kindred spirit battling to take a photograph to impress his friends in his camera club!

Next, it's Newport Rhode Island and Cape Cod
