and finally, time to look at some recent developments in
the area near our hotel. I enjoyed some of the 'off the wall' architectural
ideas that are in Gaudi's best tradition.

This was the corridor outside our room on
the fifteenth floor. I liked the shadows caused by the giant letters 'hotel'
on the windows!
There was an outdoor pool on the 13th floor!
Down in La Rambla, the atmosphere is somewhat different.

It's a fun walk, though. Surprising what you see.
A street market near the hotel sported some
real car boot stuff. It was all very much in use by the craftsmen involved.
Including one sharing my surname; Baker.
That is just about it. My view of Barcelona. If you
haven't been, you should try to go, it's a great city.
