Tiggy is now eight weeks old and weighs just over a pound and three quarters. She eats, sleeps and plays well, usually to an attentive audience.  She has attained the reputation of a mini kitten star by the number of photographs on my, sorry, her web site. Here are some more....

How many more pictures can he take of me in my favourite box? Just what is the point? It has come to my attention that this lump of yellow plastic is in the shape of a fish. Now, I have further learnt that fish are meant to appeal to cats: and I'm going to be one of those before long. So, I'm going to knock hell outa this one before I get round to eating them. In the meantime, it's Whiskas kitten food; and that is pretty cool.
It's a daft bloody shape and doesn't smell of anything, but I suppose I'll play along with the humans for now, at any rate.
Friday Jan 16th

This week I went to the Vets in my pet box. There was a huge dog that I could see through the holes in my box. It was SO ugly. I don't think I'll like dogs. At all. The vet shoved something sharp in my neck, but it didn't hurt. Much. I think it hurt the human more when he had to pay. Serve's him right.

Well, there I was just hanging about in the kitchen when an opportunity to take a look at the outside kittenworld came up Now, outside is really interesting, so much going on. Trouble is, I'm not given long enough to explore before I'm whisked back indoors.
Tuesday Jan 20th

Today, I found a way out of what they call the kitchen and found some really scary things called stairs.

They are a lot of fun, cos you can hide without my carers seeing you. I think.

Then the really exciting discovery, there's this big telly thing with pictures of one of my carers on. How cool is that? anyway, I reckon this I.T. stuff is easy. Lets get some paws on experience.
Tuesday Jan 27th

A girl has to do her grooming somewhere and the stairs seem as good a place as anywhere.

Now, about these eyes, why do they come out green on camera?

My feeders say that this is the front porch and mutter about orange trees and orchids.

I just call it my jungle.

I've worked out that this fish is totally inedible, therefore useless, so I'll just give it a hard time.
January 31st

One of the other humans that I haven't seen before came here yesterday. She is actually quite cat friendly, although at first I wasn't sure.

Lets face it, she does a good job of keeping me feeling safe and warm

February 4th

I thought I'd done really well in finding this cosy hideaway. He still found me, though. There's this interesting jungle near the front door. I'm disguiing myself as a tiger here. Can you see me?
February 16th

I've got  the freedom of the garden now and it is so much fun. I just couldn't be a house cat after this. Tree climbing is much better than sofa climbing. (here, here)

Life can be such a yawn...
March 12th

Thick white stuff fell on my garden overnight and I was out early to investigate.

Incredibly, although its rather cold on the paws, it tastes quite good. Almost like water, actually.

March 16th

Today, I caught my first mouse. It was quite fun so I brought it into the kitchen to play. The reaction of my feeders was mixed. The ones with the high voices ran out shouting something. The one with the camera, well, surprise, surprise. he started taking pictures.

Unfortunately for me, no-one had shown me what to do next, so the camera person took my capture away and let it go in the garden. I was well fed up, I can tell you.

So I took it out on the big tree at the top of the garden. It was good fun going up, but it took me a long while to figure out how to get down. Now where is that mouse?

The sun is shining and I am being the meat in a sort of a sandwich. Well, I see the humans in bed and they look like this.

It's hard work being a cat, you know. Quite tiring.

Oh well, time for another 40 winks....
May 15th
May was not a good time for me. My minders put me in a cardboard box and took me to a room full of other animals, some in boxes and some nasty big dogs. I kept quiet and this human stuck a needle into my neck. The next I knew, I was waking up feeling very sore down below and I had this great big thin g around my neck. I heard someone say something about antibiotics , not going out for ten days and stitches. What are stitches?

Anyway, to cut a long story down a bit, I was stuck indoors, not able to wash myself properly and back to pooing in a tray. Not my scene at all, I can tell you. Ten whole days, it was purrgatory.

May 23rd
It's off! The collar thing. AND I can play outside. Bliss. I caught a shrew on the first day to celebrate. And I can climb trees again. YESSSS! Hello below!

One has ambitions to travel. Now Turkey, that could double for lunch, too. Are there special discounts for cats?
