And so to bed. I awaken at sunrise and
enjoy natures own light show.
The Venetian hotel has a somewhat more laid back look
in early morning light.
I'm walking north this
morning, aiming for the Stratosphere tower.
The Wynn and The Encore hotels are both very new and
still getting some finishing touches.
One of Mr Trumps variously rich towers gleaming with
more than a touch of gold.
The Stratosphere is some 1000 feet high and I thought
it might be worth a closer look.

This is my favourite shot of the tower.
Time to go up. Just $8 for an old
gripper like me!
The view is certainly worth it.
It has a high 'wow' factor.
One can look almost vertically down.
If you don't suffer from vertigo, that is.
Lets face it, the views are excellent. Well worth the
walk. (3 miles from my hotel, although there is a monorail that gets you
nearer.)
There were some guides to the views that
one could see. The giant Convention centre was the venue for N.A.B.'s
annual exhibition of everything to do with Television; ever!
