	I think that this next picture captures the contrasts between contrasting aspects of China.
An electrician with all his tools and wire tucked up on his bike. One of the few crash helmets I saw.			At first sight, I thought that this was a garage. On inspection, it's a small shop.
Here are a few pics I took of life alongside what appeared to be a canal.

		Back in the centre of town again and things have taken a different dimension. I wish I could do this!


	some ancient pipe work oozing steam at the side of the river bank. Communal heating perhaps?		Ah yes, I remember snail mail!
			We have a breakdown here. The wheel hub is being hit with a 2lb hammer.
	Not much to protect these bare wires from an energetic youth!
