The Eagle has landed...

I took the opportunity of taking a photograph of my pilot, if only to reassure that there was actually someone there behind me!

I think his name was Andy.

and that's the view of my knees showing the dual controls which I kept well clear of!

Andy is now working at losing height, our craft seems happy just cruising around all day.

There, in the distance, is our runway. Whilst aloft, the wind direction has changed so we will be landing from the east. Quite common, I am told.

On finals, and then my adventure's over.

And after all that, it's time for a glass of Canadian wine with Sandy, my Canadian cousin.

The next day, Caroline, Jean and I are off to Vancouver Island. Although we have been before, this time we want to explore in more depth.
