I have been lucky to visit Cyprus many times over
the last 20 years or so. Sigma TV invited me out to Nicosia to deliver a
weeks lighting training in July.
July is
hot in Nicosia reaching 37C just about every day. My only free time to
'snap' around time was the evenings when the temperature dipped enough
to be comfortable.
I arrived at Heathrow on a Saturday evening for an
early flight to Cyprus on the following day.
This one seemed to get stuck in the perimeter fence!
Through security and into retail
territory.
Its not long before I take myself into
the fascinating back streets of Nicosia.
cafes are everywhere, but many are closed.

Then I found several old cars covered in
decades of dust!
