Round and about Cowbridge - bygone images...

A few years ago, the David brothers used to sell their excellent meat from their shop in the High Street. It always intrigued me how they traded from a barely converted house! I often saw them scrubbing down the work surfaces and floors on a Saturday afternoon, even though I guess both of them were well into their seventies. Just before they ceased trading, I asked if I could come along and take a few pictures of their shop, and of course, themselves. Below are some of those pictures. I haven't added comments, because I think they speak for themselves! I hope they are both enjoying a well earned retirement.

This was taken a few years ago whilst we still had a garage. That has long gone and now houses have been built on the site.

The car too, is from a bygone era. However, I do remember being driven 100 bone shaking miles in one as a child.
