| Out of Rowen, a long and winding road climbs
up the track of a Roman Road. I was cycling, and it was tough going. |
Quite close to the tree line, it was very
windy and quite cool for the end of June. There was a gale blowing from
the North West. |

Eventually, the road sort of finished, and I
crossed into no mans land, with the eventual reward of dropping from the
1400 feet above sea level which is where I was now at. |
Right at the top are some standing stones, so
I thought I would stand alongside one of them! |
The views began to open up towards the north
coast of Wales. |
To the north, is the Island of Anglesey with
Puffin Island to the right. The weather is clearly anything but settled. |
As I enjoy the descent, there are wild 'orses
about. |
One here, with Llanfairfechan and the A55
behind. I had a rapid and somewhat scary descent to the main road and
managed to get back to base before the rain set in. |
