Pentyrch Open Gardens Day 2003
| The Head Gardener (Jean, my wife) decided
that she would like to take a look at an open gardens day in Pentyrch,
just north of Cardiff on what transpired to be the hottest day of the
year. Her chauffeur (me) insisted that we walked between the many (25)
houses who had opened their garden doors to the public so it was with some
trepidation and a heavy camera that we started walking and admiring at
about 1045 am on the Sunday morning. It was actually most enjoyable and a
credit to the many gardeners of Pentyrch who had clearly an ongoing love
affair with their gardens.
I show the pictures in chronological order as we
followed the (excellent) guide brochure provided by the organisers. No
comments from me, let the pictures do the talking.
