Pittenweem is a picturesque wee place along the 'East
Neuk' of the Kingdom. This is also one of the driest parts of the U.K.
Mark showed us some of the 'sweet spots' where we were
sure of getting shots with good composition. That, after all, is one of
the most important components of good landscape photography.
He had also gone to a lot of trouble in making sure that
tide and light were beneficial to our site work.
The images
below are a record of our first day's work. I was very happy with what I
learnt, both in the camera work and the processing afterwards.
