Port Townsend is characterful, eclectic, eccentric even. Lots of photographic opportunities.

This plaque tells of a former use of a building as a telephone exchange.
	Back at the Baker House. I love that colonial look with balcony and pillars.
The following day, we are driving west and call in to see the Marymere Falls. They come at the end of a short trail.
		Then it was the wilderness beaches at La Push. Similar in feel to those on Vancouver Island. Not too surprising when you look at the map!

Next it's the Hoh Rainforest park. Quite a long drive for our first day, but good to have been.
	Jean is pointing to an indicator of the amount of rain that falls here in just one year. Decay and new growth with clear water streams are the order of the day
