Early April was the
time for me to return to the Classic Hotel in Nicosia for another
working trip to Cyprus. I was able to see both sides of the Green Line
again, which is always rewarding for a photographer. The site is still in
construction, more will appear day by day... The
working side of things can be seen
here. |

March 25th 2006 saw a fine old
lady known as
King Edward 1st pass under the rain
soaked bridge on which several members of our camera club were perched! |

March 1st is St David's
Day: the patron saint for Wales. On that day, 2006, The Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh,
Prince Charles and his wife, Camilla came to open the new
Welsh
Parliament building or 'Senedd' .
We came along later to
a nearby restaurant but were able to enjoy our first glimpse of another
Richard Rogers masterpiece of architectural design. But not inside,
there was a bit of a 'do' going on which was not for the likes of us! |

For aficionados of Broadcasting
Nostalgia, a few more pictures in my
BBC Bush House collection have been
added, thanks to Roger Wilmut |

January 2006 and we have a few
days in Dublin, Ireland
at a medical
conference. Needless to say. the pictures here are of more universal
appeal! |

Christmas 2005 was spent with
most of my family in a rented house in
Newport Pembrokeshire. There are many
Newports in the U.K. but this one is my favourite. Close to the world
famous Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, it has so much to offer to the
'discerning' tourist (and photographer) |

My main purpose of visiting
Cyprus in December was to give some lighting training to the lighting
staff of Sigma TV
in Nicosia. Take a look at what I found. |
 |
In December 2005. I returned to
Nicosia, Cyprus to do some work for Sigma TV. Quite
a lot has changed in the five years since my last visit, but it is still a
very interesting place for a photographer. Five more web pages testify to
that! |

New England was the area we chose to
explore in the Fall of 2005. Starting from
Boston, we took our Chevy up
Interstate 95 on our six State adventure. It was an interesting and
relaxing look into Americas history. I was rubbish at history at school,
but this was much more palatable! |

Dyffryn Gardens
are quite close to 'chez nous', just a few miles out of Cardiff off the
A48. I hadn't been for many years, and have to say there have been
dramatic improvements in that they really are an excellent half day visit
for the horticulturally (or photographically) minded.
We took a look on European Heritage weekend. We were not
alone, but in a huge estate like Dyffryn, it didn't matter. |
