| May 17th 2003 was their big day, Allie
and Richard got married and we shared their special day. It was a civil
wedding in the splendid surroundings of
Atlantic College on the southern edge of the Vale of
Glamorgan overlooking the Bristol Channel. The weather forecast was
pretty lousy, but then, this is Britain and we are used to coping with
'variable cloud and squally showers'.
Friends and family assembled in their posh togs to
a champagne reception and one of the nicest civil weddings to which I
have been.
