Hathaways cottage which was nearby, I think we did the right thing in
coming here.

Having worked in the field of lighting, I
do like a good searchlight. This was one of several at Fort Rodd; in
beautiful condition and well over a metre and a half in diameter. |

When I first saw this guy, I thought he
was real.

As we crossed the beach, we passed this
old boathouse which isn't a boathouse at all. The upper bit opened up and
one of the searchlights shown above would snap on and thoroughly
illuminate the unfortunate enemy boat. |

then via the
Icefield Parkway
to Banff.
