Jean became a member of the RHS this year, so we took a day trip to North Devon to the fabulous gardens at Rosemoor.

 

As one emerges from the visitor centre, the formal gardens are right there in front of one, well, two actually.
Generally speaking, I prefer the less formal side of things. These vertical slabs reminded me of the film, 2001 for some reason!
