Mid February is snowdrop time in the UK.

Twas on a beautifully sunny day in mid February that Jean and I visited two very English gardens to see some of the many (250!) varieties of this humble but quintessentially English pre spring bloom.

OK, I know they come from Europe but we, the Brits like to think of them as our very own! Rodmartin Manor was our first call. Then, it was off to Colesbourne Park to see one of the largest displays of snowdrops in the U.K.

Take a peek at some of the pictures taken during our visit to Gloucestershire.
