St David's Cathedral

 

It's cold again for my early morning walk. But there other photographers. It's Boxing Day.
The water shows signs of having frozen at the previous high tide. Now that's cold for west Wales.

Lower town in Fishguard.

 

St Davids Cathedral in one of Britain's smallest cities.

Looking straight up into the wooden carved roof.

Caroline lit a candle in memory of her late Granfather, Ted (Don Eduardo) Lees.

The low winter light was intensely bright.

The cathedral is in a dip and is consequently well hidden from the Viking Raiders of long ago.

A few miles to the west and we are at a lifeboat station high above the sea.
