This was one of my favourite Parks. It was quiet, atmospheric and beautiful.
The occasional truck loaded with timber roars by. The park is not just a tourist trap.
I like the mist hanging on the snowy peaks.
Jean and Caroline like it here too.
Trees and sky, changing in mood all the time.
There were trails into the temperate forest which were super. This was the walk to Lupin Falls.
Slim and elegant they are too.
Onward alongside Buttle Lake to the lower Myra Falls.
The water is so clear in the tiny streams.
Mould and rotting wood takes on bright colours.
These are the falls. Well worth the walk.
