September 2008 and the weather suddenly improved after a dismal summer here in the UK. Jean and I took a few days R & R in Suffolk, a very pretty county with much to offer the tourist and the photographer. That'll be me, then.

First, we visited Beth Chatto's gardens. They are rather lovely. The pictures talk for themselves.
