The Strip is about 4 miles long, and over the four days or so that I was there, I walked it all. I was there as the guest of a company who was using me as a consultant at the huge NAB exhibition that is hosted there annually.

The gondoliers were singing as they punted along the canals of blue, blue water. Unreal, I've said it before and I'll say it again! A little further through the hotel complex, a waterfall. Modest in size but a waterfall nonetheless.

Everything done in the best possible taste!

Outside, Treasure Island glowed ever so brightly across the road.

On this side, however , some pretty magical colours and reflections outside the Venetian Hotel.

Next day, quite early by Vegas standards, I take a walk and notice that the local Law use environmentally appropriate transport.

Going south now, I soon get a glimpse of Paree by the desert (as opposed to The Seine)

Monsieur Montgolfier is also represented.

La Tour is, I believe a one half scale model. But it does have a restaurant en haut.

Inside the Paris Hotel, a rather grand chandeliered reception area.

at une roue Francaise, aussi.

It's early in the jour, so not too many people losing money a ce moment. Some interesting captions on these 'T' shirts.

You wanna rent a nice car, sir? Ferrari's, Maserrati's are all here for that special wallet busting occasion.

My first glimpse of New York, New York. Has to be said twice... In a couple of months, Jean and I are planning to stay in this modest emporium for a couple of nights. That's the MGM Grand Hotel with a mere 5000 rooms.

Crossing the main roads is not too demanding, one just steps onto an escalator to be carried up and over the huge highways connecting Vegas with...the suburbs and eventually, the desert.

Next, It's the Bellagio, another 'Modest' Hotel on the west side of the Strip. Stay tuned, there's more, much more in the city that never sleeps!
