Some rather pretty house boats in the background here in the harbour. I wonder if they get used to the sea planes cruising past their door.

Two very different craft on the Juan de Fuca Straits. The Olympic National Park beyond.

Its quite windy on board...

That's the first time i have seen WiFi associated with fish and chips!

We start to climb the very long and winding road to Hurricane Ridge which is at 5200 feet above sea level.

Here, a wild turkey shuffles off out of the way.

Fine views to Mt Appleton and Mt Stormking.

Still plenty of snow up here.

Our accommodation that night was to be in Port Townsend, recommended to us by a friend of Jeans cousin, Isla.

Our accommodation for two nights is the Baker House B&B which is in a commanding position overlooking the Puget Sound

Why the Baker House? Well, it was built in 1898 by a Dentist of that time. A Dr. Baker.
Apparently, the town is often used by Hollywood for location filming because of its old buildings and, I guess, its quaint and eclectic character.
