'The Corrie' garden - Top End

October 5th 2002 and we are in the middle of an Indian summer. Misty mornings are followed by warm, dry days. If only this would just go on, and on, and on...

Winter comes on, and an early morning frost adds a chilling edge to everything

sunset-2.jpg (34860 bytes) Winter has its compensations: wonderful skies which appeal to a photographer; this looking out beyond Cowbridge with the lights of the A48 leading towards Bridgend and the west.

last years major project was to build a summer house at the top of the new part of the garden. I built the foundations using old railway sleepers and tannalised timber.

Eventually, it is complete and is a quiet spot in the garden where even the phone can't be heard.
