There are some fine, modern buildings in
Vancouver. I liked the use of different coloured anti reflective coatings
for the glass which gave either a warm or cool tint. |

area there is the possibility of some hassle from the beggars who usually
have some pretty convincing hard luck stories. You have been warned. |

High up in the massive Station that marks
the western end of the Canadian Pacific Railway, is a clock giving
'Mountain Time'. |

There is so much bustle on the waterfront
here; it reminded me somewhat of Istanbul. Boats of all sizes and shapes.
Here, sailplanes regularly take off with links to Victoria and Vancouver
Island. |
