Llandudno - The Victorian Parade

In early May, 2003, I found myself on the sea front in a good position for pictures of Llandudno's annual May Parade. Steam relics and Victorian costumes are to be found all over the town, but I only had time to get a few pics of the parade. I include them below, but have no information about them; they do tend to speak for themselves.

A friend of mine, Tony Escott sends this memory from his home in Italy:

"I had memories about one of those fairground DC generators which I once borrowed from a circus to run the decorative lighting on a tented exhibition at the Royal Welsh Show when it was a movable feast. I believe it was at Aberystwyth.  The fee I agreed with the operator was £20 and three cases of Guinness!

That must have been around 1959/60 when I was lighting Television OB s."
