The Aberthin Village Hall

We have a quarterly newsletter which is distributed to villagers with details on past and future events that we organise. Although I have now stood down from the committee, I will try and keep ex pat villagers up to date with goings on in this neck of the Vale.

Below, pictures of 'a year in the life of' show some of the events that we get involved with.

There is a new website that the committee have launched recently. I'll let you know its url when I find it out.

Hall1.jpg (32125 bytes) This is our Village Hall, rescued from a possible purchase as a private dwelling some years ago. The Hall management committee have gradually refurbished and improved its condition with the help of various grants and a lot of hard work! Village_day.jpg (38216 bytes) We are lucky to have a talented artist in the village, Gary Rees has recently produced this splendid cartoon depicting activities on our annual 'Village Day'. It is actually a weekend activity, spreading across Saturday and Sunday towards the end of June.

Certain villagers will be able to recognise themselves (including me)
