West Wales
| That's the last bit before you hit the Irish sea. It
does, of course, mingle with mid Wales as there are no distinct boundaries.
It does boast the world famous Pembrokeshire Coastal path and Britain's
smallest (and perhaps the prettiest) Cathedral: St David's. Lots of history
(chronicled elsewhere on other sites) , but for me, its the magnificent
landscape and seascape that I love most. Just beyond the Preseli Hills
nestles Newport on the estuary of the Clydacch Estuary. It's a small town
with quaint charm and much of interest to the discerning tourist. At least,
that's what I think. 'Click on' for some
reasons as to why this is my favourite corner of West Wales. |
