The valley of desolation had some very pretty cameo
scenes.
best of all was this extremely pretty waterfall just
trickling down into a small pool. I've seen a few waterfalls in my time,
but this one is one of the prettiest I've ever seen.

go, and see how beautiful the British countryside can be.
Later, the skies show signs of a change in the
weather.
On my way back into Malham our stay for the next two
nights, a distant glimpse of Malham Tarn. That's for tomorrow.
Malham is a chocalate box village with two pubs, a
stream, a hump backed bridge and surrounded by some of my absolute
favourite scenery.
After a hearty breakfast, we take off to
do a seven mile walk around two of the area's 'must see' sights.
Summer is nearly ended, but these swallows (house
martins?) are stocking up on flies in preparation for the long flight
south.
